Airtel is another prominent Telecommunications Company that has been in Nigeria for sometime now. Founded in India, Airtel has gone broad in numerous countries and continents and is known for its Fast network reception. 

As a follow up to my previous post on Glo FAQS, I decided to write on Airtel FAQS also, the same thing applies to MTN and 9Mobile, so I can answer some questions relating to each network Provider. In this post, we will learn how to check Airtel data balance first, then move on to answer other Frequently Asked questions on Airtel. Stay with Techbruh.

HOW TO CHECK DATA BALANCE ON AIRTEL? 

If you want to know how far you have spent your data, simply dial *323# to check your data balance. You will be shown all active data plans available and their remaining volume. 


HOW TO CHECK AN AIRTEL NUMBER? 

Are you wondering what your Airtel number is? Maybe you didn't memorise it well enough and want to know? Well, Worry less because this FAQS post got you covered. 

Simply Dial *121*3*4# on your device Dialer and follow the instructions or options on the screen to know your Airtel Number. You can also check your number on your airtel SIM pack if you Still have it with you.

HOW TO SHARE DATA ON AIRTEL? 

To share Data on your Airtel line, follow these steps:

1. Dial *312# to access the menu.

2. Navigate to the next page to view more options.

3. Select option 14, labelled "Gifting and Sharing".

4. Choose option 4, "Data Me2U", from the subsequent menu.

5. Finally, select the option to transfer data from your existing balance.

HOW TO CHECK AIRTIME BALANCE ON AIRTEL? 

Dial *310# on your phone Dialer to check and know you current airtime balance on your airtel SIM card. 


HOW TO LOAD AN AIRTEL CARD? 

This question is from people who still use the traditional way of recharging a SIM card. Simply dial *311*recharge card number# and it will be credited immediately, if the voucher hasn't been used before. 


HOW TO DO NIGHT PLAN ON AIRTEL? 

The Airtel night plan is a very useful type of Data. You get more data for a lower fee, just that it is active only at night time. However, it does come In handy if you have large files to download. 

To activate and make use of the Airtel night plan, you must migrate to Airtel SmartTrybe tarrif plan by dialing *412# on your phone Dialer, and choosing option 1 which is Migrate. 

After migrating, dial *412# again and choose next which is represented by the # sign. Now select the plan you want, with number 2 being 250mb for N25, valid for one night, 12am-5am. I wrote a well detailed post on this covering other networks as well, do well by checking it out Here.

HOW TO SHARE AIRTIME ON AIRTEL? 

Do you want to know how to share Your airtime balance with a fellow Airtel user, follow the steps below to share. 

– Dial *321# on your phone Dialer (this is the Me2U sharing code). 

– Select option 1 which says Airtel to Airtel. 

– Enter the number of the recipient you want to share with. 

– Enter the amount of airtime you want to share/transfer. 

– Input your Me2U pin and then Confirm your transfer. 

Note that the default sharing pin on Airtel is 1234, if you wish to change it, use the *321# code and you will see an option for Pin management. If you already set your own pin, simply use that pin when Sharing. 


HOW TO BORROW AIRTIME FROM AIRTEL? 

Simply Dial *303#, select option 2 which says borrow credit, choose the amount of credit you want to borrow, and it will be credited into your SIM card if you are eligible.

HOW TO TALK TO AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE? 

You can speak to an Airtel customer care staff by dialing 121 on your phone and calling the number with your airtel SIM. follow the instructions and you will be connected to a customer care staff to attend to your needs. 

Alternatively, you can use the Contact Us format found on the Airtel Official Website for Nigeria.
